The google+ #thewalkdownunder is the biggest photowalk ever held! 300+ photographers were ferried to Cockatoo Island with hot coffee and breakfast awaiting! How wonderful is that? I also met some instagrammers from Sydney and had an amazing time!
What a fun little trip to the Sydney Fish Market it is! I wished I could stomach all the fresh seafood! The seagulls were always near you if you have food with ya! As recommended by my sister, I had fish & chips and calamari all by my self! And you know how Aussie portion works!!! I was so full that I skipped dinner!
However, Tsujiki Market is still my favorite market!! :P
I had a blast when I was in Sydney for a week! Stayed at YHA at The Rocks which have an amazing view of the Sydney harbor bridge and the Sydney Opera House! I met an amazing roommate, Sibylle from Switzerland which we spent some time having some random walks and exploring the city! Fernn flew in from Singapore and we went to Adriano Zumbo at The star! I joined the Google+ The Walk Down Under walk and met Step, Iwona, Ross and Phil! I also met up with beautiful Emily who taught me many tips and tricks to her amazing lights photos!
Apart from all the beautiful people that I met, there’s the stunning Opera House and Harbor Bridge that doesn’t fail to impress me everyday, at every angle. Will update more about Sydney! Too many photos for a short week!
It was a warm autumn evening when Trav and Lee decided that we should kayak on the Yarra River, this was my second time doing so. The first time when I kayak with Trav was when I just arrived in Melbourne in Feburary! My muscles sore for two whole days!
However this time when I kayak, my muscles were all toned from farming and I did not ache at all! :D
Thanks to both Trav and Lee, I had an amazing time not only on the Yarra River, but in Melbourne too!
I’ll be heading to New Zealand on Monday! Will try to update my Sydney, Adelaide and St Andrews trips before I fly to the kiwi land!!!
Have you heard of the City Greeter service? Many major cities in the world have this amazing service where locals will show you their city, they will bring you to hidden laneways, less know paths that tourists will not know, in small groups of not more then 4! Plus, it’s absolutely free! :P
I’ve got a very knowledgable guide, Paul. Paul brought us into buildings, explained to us histories and cultures! Coincidently, in the group, we were all female travelers! All the girls were amazing! We even went for lunch together and did the Parliament House tour after!
Everyone that is going to Melbourne should get themselves booked for a Melbourne City Greeter tour! I bet it will be an unforgettable experience!
Points Lonsdale is in Geelong, which I went the weekend after I got back from the great ocean road. Trav and Lee brought McKenzie, Brady and me there! Beautiful place with beaches that is almost untouched.
We had so much fun exploring the place, jumping off cliffs and had ice-cream at queenscliff! As sun was setting we head to St Leonard’s for some awesome good pizzas!
